Ingrown Toenail removal treatment (Left foot)

If you haven’t already- Make sure to SUBSCRIBE! Thank you for watching. Apologies for the lighting and blurring in this video-, British weather has a tendency of doing its own thing as you can see. But now spring is on the way we shouldn’t be having any more issues ๐Ÿ™‚

This client has been having reoccurring pain with her toenails due to his type of footwear he wears and the shape of his nail. Ingrown toenails can be the result of poor fitting footwear, poor cutting techniques, injuries, and the involuted shape on chronic cases can be inherited. With time sharp corners of nails can cause pain in the sulcus and result in redness too. The case about is a minor case but great for you to see how even something so small can have such an effect! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

During this video the ingrown nail and the callus in the sulcus is debrided and resected using a scalpel (15 blade) technique, pre and post anti- bacterial cleanse is used and finished with a pencil burr (the drill). The whole process is without the use of anaesthetics and pain free. The client finds immediate relief after the removal of the nail spike. She was able to wear shoes and walk comfortably post removal.

THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!! xx

Hello! Yesterday evening I accidentally removed my ingrown by myself. I was just cutting my nails from the side but when I'm cutting it, I noticed that it is somewhat long and it bleed a bit and today I noticed that my toe is a bit swollen like there's a pus? I don't know if it's really pus or what. If only we can send pics here maybe you'll know what it is. It hurts a bit. I didn't put anything to it to avoid complications and such.

Please help me. I don't know if my toe is in "danger" because of cutting it or not.

  7. Having had these myself, this technique will only make it feel better for about a week, two at the most.
