Question by hvandyk82: What is the stuff that salons add to the spa pedicure water?
I just bought a home pedicure spa and I want to buy that stuff that the salons use in their water…sometimes its blue and turns the water blue.

epsom salts. They moisturize.

  1. The blue stuff is actually just a sanitizer, it’s not what makes your feet feel great. Best thing to do is soak, apply an oil (even cooking oil) and sugar or salt to scrub, and pumice off the callouses. Finish with a nice thick lotion and you’re set.
