Pedicures Q&A: Should I still get a pedicure?

Question by : Should I still get a pedicure?
Im 14, and I find feet to be really nasty, including my own. I have a lot of skin that is peeling on my feet, and the day before im suppose to get a pedicure, half of my nail on my big toe falls off. It hurt, and is pretty gross. Should I still get a pedicure? I would feel so embarassed having them work on my nasty feet. Could they fix the nail, or not even allow me to get one? Im suppose to go tomorrow, help!

You can still get a pedicure, but be careful. Tell them about your condition with your feet (a condition is just how your feet are doing) and they should be able to help you. Don’t stress it, I would still go.

You should still go. Don’t be embarrassed! I don’t think any feet are technically pretty, and people go get pedicures so they can make your feet look and feel better anyway! As for the big toe nail, let them know about it and just ask them what they can do. I had a friend which had fake toenails on her two big toenails before, so maybe for now if the shop does that, they can add a fake big toenail until the rest of yours grows back. Good luck!
