Question by shellzere: How can i make myself feel and look better?
Recently i feel really ugly!
i used to walk down the road and get lots of attention but these days i don’t and i don’t understand why.

I used to be blonde im now brunette but i suit both colours so im told erm the reason im not confident in myself is because i recently ruined my hair and it fallen out now its shoulder length with layers and i got split ends i think because they keep coming out,do you think i should get my hair cut into the ‘posh bob’ maybe when i wear make up also it goes blotchy and patchy and ive used loads of different brands such as mac,rimmel,max factor etc and still is blotchy ive moisturised and still same,i just feel like ive kinda let myself go abit need help x

Start washing your face. I know that makes me feel good. Apply lotion, and take longer more relaxing showers. Go out and have fun with a close friend, like go to the beach or the mall, even buy some new clothes if that will make you feel better. Try eating a more healthy diet, and just trim your hair a bit, not get a new style. For make-up buy some face cleanser products meant to clean your face. Don’t apply too much either. If you mess up on one little thing, don’t try and erase just that, start over. Also, exercise, go to a gym, and get social, but also stay ahead on academics like homework and studying.     I say if your hair feels that unhealthy to you, it may be beneficial to get a cute bob, but don’t get the same one EVERYONE has now, lol.

    Also, try a deep conditioner before considering a haircut because they really do make hair miracles happen. Try the Aussie 3 minute deep conditioning treatment.

    As for makeup, I don’t exactly know what skin type you have, but an oil free moisturizer before applying makeup usually helps it go on smoother, wait about 15-20 minutes though before putting makeup on.

    Also try powder foundations, they sometimes go on better for some people than the liquid foundation does. Neutrogena’s mineral one is pretty good.

I would get olive oil and put it on your hair mixed with two raw eggs (it helps restore the damage and cut out frizz) leave it on 30-40 mins then wash out with barely warm water (or the eggs will cook). This site has more alternative/funky cuts on it but you still may like some of the cuts in here take a look:http://haircrazy.info/gallery/ I would get a trim atleast 🙂 and talk to the stylist, she’ll/he’ll be able to tell you what’d look the best. I would get the Juice Organics brightening kit (you can get it at target or kroger even) it really makes the blotchiness go away and makes your skin look very smooth, not oily, moisturized and gives it a little glow. I would look into physican’s formula (target again 🙂 ) for make up, they have awesome mineral make up and even organic make up that looks good and won’t clog your pores. The mineral powder looks the best in my opinion, you should use the foundation powder and the translucent illuminating powder over it (I actually mixed the two together lol) Maybe get some new clothes? that always makes me feel good :). Maybe a self done manicure too.

  4. washing your face mite work it makes me feel better too. also try eating healthier food, exercising, listening to music when taking shower and also dancing(that makes me feel so much better) also try doing yoga. once you feel better in the inside your exterior will look its best.
    try getting a treatment for your hair. and like i said healthier food and vitamins will help your hair look better.

Please. You notice every perceived ‘flaw’ and magnify it when what is really happening is they are simply dumbstruck by your beauty and feel unworthy to approach you. The first thing you say tomorrow morning when you get up is “today I am beautiful!” Out loud. To yourself. repeat. And a blonde that became a brunette? That means you’re intelligent, too. Go now.
