Question by : how long is a beauty therapy course nd is it a good job?
i want 2 kno if beauty therapy is a good career choice nd even tho the money is pretty rubbish is it still good (also is there different roots you can go down like ….not waxing!!!!!!!!!!!!)

i think you shld do the basic beauty theraphy course and practice it by working somewhere !! then once you get into a salon or spa, you ll have ur doors open to variety of different beauty therapies … concentrate on wht people wnt in the country you live in !! like for example in dubai women want a lot of hair and nail treatments , in india people concentrate on skin, waxing blah so find out … but as a beauty therapist, it is expected of you to know everything !! frm waxing to pedicure to make up and even hair dressing !! atleast basic stuff !! money depends on how good u r !!?? if people want themselves to be in ur hands, thn ur talent and qualities are in demand but if u not good at wht you do thn thrs not much … so just be the best at it and trust me this is interesting !!! also learn henna designing !!

im 16 and studying beauty therapy at college (like im doing a course)
and theres heaps of different things..
im doing the diploma in beauty therapy, you do waxing, tinting, facials, massages, body treatments like clay masks and stuff, manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails, make up, spray tanning.. heaps of differnt stuff… its fun but it is hard work… like its really hands on and physical.. after you do your general course in beauty therapy, you could go on to do professional makeup, or study more and do like face injections like botox and stuff.. its up to you. but the course does cost about $ 10,000.. its very expensive so make sure your definatly sure its what you wanna do before putting money into it 🙂 good luck !!!
