365 Days – Day 81 – After the Pedicure
My feet are in a dreadful state after a winter spent crammed into shoes, boots and trainers. I’ve finally got around to giving myself a pedicure and will need to do several more over the next few weeks to get them back into reasonable condition. It’s a shame because I love my feet and I’ve let them go. Shame on me!

My mother had a nail shop awhile back before opening a restaurant, and there was a lady that couldn’t come to the nail shop so my mom had to send someone out there. Pedicures cost about 20$ back then, and the lady paid our tech 50$ all together. Pedicures now, I believe cost around the same so I don’t think the price would be much of an difference. So probably around 60 -70$ ? It also depends on the area you live, because some areas charge more than others. Also if depends if the nail shop provide those type of services since taking the tech from the shop for about an however long it takes, they would probably make less.

A half hour’s worth of work.

I had a french manicure recently and it took one hour, so I wouldn’t expect much.
Probably a file, cuticle tidy, quick rub with some cream and maybe a clear polish.
