This is YAHOO, it’s a World Wide Web and many of us have not even bought anything or work @ Massapequa or KNOW where it is.

Don’t get gel.

can harm your nerves. Google gel manicure warnings. About 456,000 results (0.17 seconds).
Google Manicures: EMA vs. MMA
The price may be higher than it seems. “Although the FDA first issued a warning about liquid MMA in the early 70’s due to reports of fingernail damage and deformity, as well as contact dermatitis, and many state governments have banned its use on nails, some salons continue to use it today.”
My suggestion is to always go to reputable nail salons. Avoid any and all ‘discount’ salons – the ones that you pay about $ 20 for a full set. That type of salon are make up the vast majority of MMA users in the nail industry. You think that you’re getting a pretty good deal by going to these cheap salons, right? Think again, think very carefully before ever going back to one of these discount salons. They don’t give a darn about your nails, or your health. You get what you pay for in life.

Ten warning signs to watch out for:

* Your salon uses bottles in unmarked containers
* The technician cannot tell you what’s in the products
* The products smell unusually strong or have a strange odor
* Your skin is being abraded or cut
* The salon is not clean
* The instruments are not sterilized
* Licenses for the salon and individual operators are not visibly posted
* Your skin or nails hurt
* The gels do not soak off easily in solvents designed to remove acrylics
* You see swelling, redness or other signs of infection

My niece had migraines and couldn’t figure out what was happening to her. We thought her BF was sneaking drugs in her drinks! It happened right after her 1st mani.
