Question by RocketGirl: Look great everyday and all the time – physically and mentally possible??? PLEASE HELP?
I have seen so many ladies who look great all the time!! So I know it IS POSSIBLE!!! I dont know how they do it – its the make up, the clothes and the accessories. Are YOU one of these women, how do you do it???? DETAILS wanted….!!!!!!!!

Do you have a shower every day? Do you remove body hair everyday? How much time do you spend on your make up or on yourself?

Please HELP

I know I can look fabulous WHEN I put alot of effort into it but being a career women I find this extremely difficult. How can I look my best and put myself together every day???

Of course!
I don’t shower everyday, but ususally every other.
Lightly tease my hair so I have volume, and a good hair day each day.
Quick 2 minute makeup= Foundation Powder! (just brush it on even if you have nice skin) Mascerra, and eyeliner. Maybe even a very nutural tone of lipstick if you feel extra adventurous.
If you feel bloated, wear shapewear under your clothes.
I meditate for 5 min every morning, but thats just me.
Listen to a song that makes you feel sexy

thats how I do it! xoxoxo good luck, (during my time of the month a little extra work is required) 😀

I dress nicely and shower daily. And, most importantly, I smile at everyone I meet, strive for a generally pleasant demeanor, and I’m polite to everyone. I’ve never met a rude or mean person who came across as pretty.

I only wear makeup sometimes. I do at least something with my hair most days, though.

Alot of little things go into helping you look pulled together. Getting regular facials/microdermabrasions (check GroupOn, LivingSocial or Couptessa for good deals) helps your skin look fresh and glowy. Get moisture from the inside by getting plenty of water. Invest in really good makeup and know how to apply it well (go to Sephora-dont be afraid to ask lots of questions to the right people and read all you can about makeup applicatioin online). And get as much rest as you can to always look fresh. Never let your hair frizz or fall flat (carry some creme/oil or hairspray in your purse depending on your hair texture). If you have oily skin, use blotting papers throughout the day, never have shine, keep concealer on hand for quick touchups and always have a fresh manicure and pedicure. Doing them at home just doesnt stack up (maybe you can paint your own toes in between pedis, but always get a manicure at least once a week – OR learn to do it yourself really well and you can get away with a professional one every few weeks. Nothing says well groomed like perfect cuticules. Never let your nails chip and dont let your hair color grow out too much. Try to get it your hair done professionally. Do regular deep conditioning treatments and keep it looking healthy. One thing men actually do notice about your hair is its condition (a primal mating thing). Its expensive, but looks more pulled together. Do not wear anything too trendy, too much jewelry, crazy nail colors, try to look clean and chic. Neutral nail colors dont show chips as much and look cleaner. Dont keep them too long. If you get gel or acrylic nails, get them filed as short as possible, long nails look unprofessional. Always make sure clothes are ironed and never wear anything with a stain or hole. I know it sounds like alot of effort, but hey, you asked. At first it will seem like alot, but you will learn short-cuts as you go along. Always try to have good posture, even when you’re tired and smile. Also, I get botox (preventative maintenance) for crow’s feet and the line in between your eyebrows. Yes I’m only 28 but I have been getting it since 25 so I wont have wrinkles. Always make sure your eyebrows are perfect, no stray hairs, and this is one thing you can not do yourself, always have professionally. Get tweezerman pointed tip tweezers and a good magnifying mirror to get stray hairs. Perfectly groomed brows always look pulled together. I have the Anastasia brow kit from Sephora. Use brow powder to create clean lines and blend with spooley, set in place with clear gel. Lots of good makeup tutorials on YouTube if you’re not too great with makeup. Also, keep any facial hair at bay. This is a good place to save. I can wax my own lip! Also, 2 places to invest in that help you always look pulled together are: a nice, luxurious watch (get it cleaned and buffed if its looking crappy) and a nice matching ring, and a nice, clean looking tote/briefcase. Better to have 2 really nice, new looking ones than a bunch of cheap looking crappy ones. If anything looks old or worn, dont be afraid to toss it. Clean out your closet regularly and have new, versatile looking pieces. Get things tailored to fit you perfectly. Much better to have a few nice, new looking well tailored items that are well made than a closet full of crap you bought on sale but never wear. We are all victims of that! Also, have clean, neat looking leather planners in meetings. Sorry this seems like alot. Having a good income helps, but I always try to look for good deals when getting all these professional services. Try to keep in shape but if you have little rolls that show through clothes, invest in some good shapewear. They are everywhere here in Miami, but you can order them online as well. It helps everyone look better and smoother in your clothes no matter what size you are and helps your posture as well. Get the right kind and it will be comfortable. Sorry so long! I got carried away. Hope some of that helps!
