what would happen if the paint smears and it dries to fast will the nail
polish remover take it off ?
yes but if you want to paint it a different color, acrylic paint may be
easier as it dries faster 🙂

I think you misunderstood – you can’t mix them together, but if you sculpt
something with eg white acrylic, you can paint on top of it with polish or
paint afterwards
