Why are so many women so upset about shaving? Women shave, and this is
normal in many societies. Get over it. Gender roles are decreasing in
society, but speaking for the majority of males – hairy women just aren’t
sexy. Is it unfair that men don’t have to shave? Sure. But men who do shave
(areas besides their face) are looked at strangely. Both genders have
gender roles that restrict them or promote certain actions. Words like
“sexism” and “racism” are thrown out here too liberally without any real
meaning behind them. The closest this commercial got to racism was perhaps
stereotyping, but if the majority of salons are run by Asians and the
commercial reflects that, it is not exactly wrong, just a reflection of
    reality.

If you are a girl and don’t want to shave, great. Don’t. Every razor
commercial you see will be “sexist” toward you. Also be aware at how
unattractive that will make you seem to the opposite sex. If that doesn’t
bother you, fine – I could really care less.

As a man do you know what I find sexist? When all the girls are ogling over
the shirtless guys in Twilight. Guys are “supposed” to have nice muscles,
but I’m not going to get all bent out of shape the next time I see a
    commercial for a sports gym.

  6. yasukoo0 says:

The woman who is full of hair is a savage at the same level as a primitive
    man. Ha ha ha!

  7. Queenie Ke says:

  8. Adriana Rojas Pretel says:

  9. Fynn Kleefeld says:

iam not a feminist but this goes to far

  10. Inés Franco Varela ( blue pleasures ) says:

    Sexist and racist both.

  11. I’m sick of this stuff in adds.

  12. JamesBrenton9000 says:

Oh, here we go another petty thing for feminazi’s to complain about and
call it sexists, racist or whatever.

    The advert was funny!
Although women aren’t known for their sense of humor are they.

  13. heyitsmehelendee says:

I don’t shave my legs, personally, but I can sort of see the humor in this.
The problem is that it tries to define what femininity is. Females grow
body hair, and you’re just as feminine if you shave or if you’re a fuzzy,
if you want to be. And, on the other had, this commercial implies guys
can’t shave they’re legs. Poopoo to you, guys can be manly as hell and be
smooth as they want to be. I stopped shaving about a year ago when I
realized how much money and time I put into it. No one treats me different,
and my fiance of 8 years still finds me sexy as can be. Millions of women
all over don’t shave and their partners, whatever their gender, still find
    them attractive.
One more note, it’s fine if you prefer you’re women or men or whatever
shaved, you get to choose what you like, it’s how humans choose they’re
partners. But if you’re saying things like “Ew, women/men who shave/don’t
shave are nasty” or “No one likes a hairy/smooth woman/man” or anything
like that, and yes, it goes BOTH WAYS, YOU’RE PART OF THE PROBLEM.

  14. Betty Ross says:

It’s not even dudeness – all human beings grow body hair, it’s just
    insulation.
Women not removing leg hair isn’t “risking dudeness” it’s just choosing to
not give a fuck about what other people think your body should look like/or
being to damn busy being boss to have time to remove your body hair.
Women who want to remove body hair should do it and feel happy with their
bodies, women who don’t want to remove body hair should not do it and feel
happy. No one should judge anyone for what they do with their body hair.

TLDR; Fuck you veet, I’m gonna buy my hair removal products from a company
that aren’t openly into body shaming.
