Pedicures Q&A: I have nice looking feet except….?

Question by natia w: I have nice looking feet except….?
I have corns on my little toes and because of that I am somewhat shy about the types of shoes that I wear. I really want to wear the cute little flip flops and others sandals but I can’t bring myself to it. My mom bought me a gift certificate to get a pedicure but I’m nervous to use it, afraid that someone will talk about my feet. My question is does regular pedicures help with the appearance of corns?

  1. Gees, what rude other answers people have made…

Hon, get the pedicure. Having corns on your feet aren’t as uncommon as you think, and the person who does your pedicure will likely have lots of good advice for you on getting rid of them.

One thing that you may try is taking 6 to 8 aspirin pills and crushing them into a paste with a little water or oil. Let the paste soak on your corns, then go at them with a pumice stone. The aspirin softens the skin significantly and makes it a lot easier to massage them off painlessly.

  2. Dont worry about it, I have then to on my little toes.
The pedicure will help, but no one really looks at your feet close enough or for long enough to notice them.
